**How you’ll contribute**

As one of our **Gas Fitter’s**, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our Heating Equipment and keeping our fleet rental ready through:

- Servicing, operating, testing, and maintaining natural gas, propane, and electric industrial heaters ranging from 30,000 BTUs to 4.5M BTU’s.
- Conducting on-site Road Service calls seasonally and when needed.
- Operating and testing equipment and, where possible, under actual operating conditions.
- Working with the Parts Department to ensure all needed parts and inventory are stocked.
- Sharing your knowledge of heating rends, equipment types, and potential business opportunities in related areas.
- Working with other Gas Fitter’s to help train the team on heat products and their service/maintenance needs.
- Developing annual reviews of service procedures with a focus on improving product reliability, quality, planning, employee training and overall customer satisfaction.
- Cooperating with the Branch Manager, Regional Development Rep, and Sales team to ensure all heat products are maintained, serviced, and available.
- Completing all work orders and related paperwork with respect to the service of equipment in order to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management computer system.
- Maintaining inventory control documents to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management system.
- Understanding the basic service requirements for all equipment and maintaining service and repair records.
- Collaborating with Branch Manager and other Gas Fitter’s to execute timely equipment disposal, minimize refurbishes, manage service schedule tracking, and report on fleet availability and other KPI’s.
- Assisting store and service staff with the loading/unloading and servicing of equipment, where required
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies, including wearing required PPE
- Completing other duties as assigned

**What we’re looking for**
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Class A Gas Fitter ticket preferred, or Class B ticket with applicable experience
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience servicing heating equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge and/or experience with diesel & gas fuel engines and electric/hydraulic systems
- Experience service or repairing heavy equipment and small engine’s is an asset
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
