**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and collaborate on inventory replenishment planning processes
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings, purchase order volume, document quality, and timely delivery of supplies and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Implement fool-proof procurement strategies to streamline processes
- Consistently monitor and manage supplier delivery dates for open PO’s, updating the system and team members in real time
- Maintain an accurate database of suppliers and products including pricing and lead times, along with applicable vendor incentives (Free shipping, etc.)
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure applicability of discounts, accurate pricing, and T&C’s
- Review and adapt standard purchasing T&C’s, ensuring vendor compliance
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations, while developing / maintaining a supplier scorecard system
- Assist with RFP’s and other opportunities through sourcing of secure pricing and delivery information as required
- Track and analyze data to identify supplier and inventory trends, contributing to our purchasing strategies
- Collaborate with Business Development with respect to potential vendors and products
- Liaise with Customs Broker and logistics department ensuring correct classification of products, minimization of import duties and taxes
- Collaborate with management team to review carrier and logistics options to best suit our needs

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Buyer or in a similar procurement role (Min. 5 year)
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation techniques
- Proficiency in ERP systems and other procurement software (Acumatica experience is considered a bonus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of purchasing cycle, import/export regulations and compliance
- Understanding of customer / supplier purchase order contract management

Pay: $62,500.00-$75,000.00 per year
