As Data Analyst, you will join an Analytics & Reporting team responsible for creating actionable insights and dashboards to empower teams and leaders throughout the company.
You will become an expert of our data, will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and to inform solutions, and will efficiently manipulate data to produce deliverables which will drive Giant Tiger's strategies.
We are therefore seeking an individual who has experience querying and analyzing complex data, someone who has a strong interest in all aspects of retail business and who thrives as part of a collaborative and ambitious team.
Data Analyst; Role Accountabilities- Participate in the development and implementation of self-service analytics tools, with an emphasis on actionability- Produce ad-hoc reporting and analytics, recommending appropriate courses of action to senior leadership- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities to deliver Giant Tiger's strategies- Know our data and our KPIs; proactively validating and investigating observed trends- Contribute to, and benefit from, the growth and development of the Reporting & Analytics team and its members- 3-5 years of experience in producing ad-hoc and self-serve analytics,- preferably in the Retail industry- Experience using BigQuery and SQL for data querying and manipulation.- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.- Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver insights and appropriate recommendations to stakeholder- Familiarity with the Google analytics tech stack is a plus (BigQuery, Looker)- Experience working in Marketing Analytics would be an advantage
