**Background**:Our valued Public Sector client is seeking an End User Computing (EUC) Specialist to provide dedicated support for the Mapping and Charting Establishment (MCE), with a primary focus on VMware Horizon administration. This role involves full lifecycle management of the EUC environment, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Horizon infrastructure. The specialist will ensure seamless virtual desktop experiences for users, support ongoing operations beyond standard deadlines, and collaborate with technical teams to align EUC services with mission-critical objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid certification in VMWare End User Computing
- Experience in 2 projects where you architecting solutions for a VMWare’s End User Computing Portfolio
- Valid Secret clearance with the Federal Government of Canada

**Responsibilities/Deliverables**:

- Oversee the administration and support of the End User Computing (EUC) environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
- Manage and maintain VMware Horizon infrastructure, including configuration, updates, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of EUC-related projects, including those extending beyond standard deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to align EUC services with organizational needs, particularly within the Mapping and Charting Establishment (MCE).
- Monitor system health and usage metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues affecting end-user productivity.
- Develop and maintain documentation for EUC systems, processes, and configurations.
- Implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards across the EUC environment.
- Support the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the virtual desktop infrastructure and user experience.
- Provide tier 3 support for complex technical issues related to Horizon and EUC systems.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for EUC services.
