We are a growing and entrepreneurial property management group, looking for an **experienced maintenance and groundskeeping technician** for our portfolio of properties. This is a role for a hard working individual who takes pride in their work and brings a positive attitude to the work and to problem solving issues for tenants.

We currently manage mixed-use buildings, residential apartment buildings, duplexes, commercial buildings, single family homes and Airbnb properties.

**Your qualifications to be considered for this opportunity**:

- Proven experience in repairs and maintenance of plumbing, heating, fixtures, windows, doors, locks, toilets, sinks, plaster and painting and drywall.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques
- Experience of building inspections for preventative maintenance
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and provide excellent customer service
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage work orders for various locations
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Possession of a clean G license and reliable transportation

**Responsibilities overview**:

- Addressing tenant concerns and requests
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery to determine the root cause of problems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and address them proactively
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain up to date property management information for each property
- Follow maintenance schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner
- **On-call, emergency hours are required on occasion**

**Grow Ontario is currently in the process of securing a work vehicle, however in the interim we do provide a fuel and mileage allowance. You must possess your own vehicle and clean Canadian license.**
