Full Time Paint Associate

Position Purpose: As a sales associate you are fast, friendly and efficient.As a team member you are to assist our customers to the best of your abilities. An associate must be able to use our Point of Sale System and be able to assist our customers by recommending the best product for their projects.In between assisting customers you will be **re stocking shelves** ,performing **housekeeping duties, **set up merchandise to sell, answering telephones and help other team members with the daily duties of running the store.

As a paint associate you would be assisting our customers in their colour choices as well as advising them on the correct products to use for their projects. Paint knowledge would be beneficial.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:
**Work a flexible schedule. NON STUDENT ONLY**
Ability to understand computer software programs, store procedures and policies
1-2 years of prior retail or industry related experience is beneficial
Willingness to learn and expand with company developments
Ability to work cooperatively in team atmosphere
Maintain a positive attitude, while executing excellent customer service and communication skills.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:
Actively seek out and offer a friendly greeting throughout the entire store

Ask open ended questions to be able to determine their needs and find a solution that the customer finds satisfaction with.
*Be enthusiastic with the customer and show compassion when appropriate to do so.
*Thank the customer, not the other way around.
*Provide specialized knowledge in our rental material and associated products to go with them.
*Provide additional services to customers such as helping them load their material into their vehicles.
*Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
*Willing to participate in seminars, webinars, training sessions and meetings as required
to expand your knowledge.
*Complete all Health and Safety Training required by government and company
regulations.
*Work in a safe manner in accordance to all safety legislation.
*Report any potential hazards and unsafe working environment to management in order
to have it corrected.

Starting between $15.00 and $16.00 depending on experience.

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
