**About Us**
Haliscape Construction specializes in residential landscaping and site development across the Halifax region. We’re currently hiring for a **Landscaping Labourer** to join our team. This is a **year-round job** offering steady work across the seasons—from landscape construction in spring/summer/fall to snow operations in the winter.

**Your Daily Work Might Include**:

- Assisting with the installation of patios, pathways, and retaining walls
- Spreading materials such as soil, mulch, or gravel for grading and finishing
- Cleaning up job sites and hauling materials and tools to and from the work area
- Operating handheld tools (shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, tampers) and small power equipment
- Supporting softscape work such as planting and lawn preparation
- Participating in **snow removal activities in winter**, including shoveling, de-icing, and maintaining access paths

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Prior landscaping or construction experience is an asset (1+ season preferred)
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in both hot and cold weather
- Shows up on time and works hard every day
- Works well in a team setting and takes direction without issue
- Has a **valid driver’s licence and personal transportation** — our sites are not on bus routes
- Safety-minded with a strong work ethic

**Nice-to-Have Extras**:

- First Aid certification
- Equipment experience (e.g., excavator, skid steer, loader)

**Compensation & Perks**
- **$19.00-$24.00/hour** depending on experience and skills
- **Increased winter rate** during snow removal season
- Year-round employment - not seasonal

**Additional Details**
- **Job Type**: Full-time, year-round
- **Typical Hours**: 35-45 per week, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays in peak season)
- **Work Setting**: On-site at various residential and small commercial job locations in HRM
- **Start Date**: Flexible - we’re hiring immediately

All job locations are **vehicle-access only**. Reliable transportation is essential to ensure punctuality.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
