We are seeking a mechanically skilled Slitting Operator with shipping experience to join our new flexible packaging division. In this role, you will operate slitting equipment for flexible packaging materials and ensure that finished products are properly prepared and dispatched to customers.

**Schedule**:8am - 4:30pm, Mon - Fri

**Responsibilities**
- Set up, operate, and monitor the Gonderflex slitting machine to produce high-quality rolls of flexible packaging material.
- Perform routine adjustments, troubleshooting, and maintenance on slitting equipment.
- Inspect finished rolls for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Accurately package, label, and prepare orders for shipping.
- Follow production schedules and complete work orders on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials as required.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and equipment.
- Ability to identify and resolve minor mechanical issues.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience operating industrial or slitting machinery is an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Shipping experience is an asset

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or a similar environment preferred.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
