- Operates a machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines with special attention to daily start ups and shut downs
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications, accurately, and in a timely fashion
- Pretreat, clean, prime and powder coat a variety of parts as needed
- Perform required quality checks including 1st piece, in-process and final inspections
- Load parts correctly for maximum efficiency
- Change hanging patterns as needed
- Use measuring devices to ensure highest level of quality
- Sanding and/or correcting parts as needed
- Follow all company policies, safety policies and procedures
- Interprets blueprints and engineering drawings correctly
- Department housekeeping including daily 5S
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Assists in the performance of troubleshooting on the machine when required
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Ability to read and follow written directions and understand shop drawings including all relevant information such as dimensions and using tape measure when needed
- Paint thickness pre-cure and after cure measurements
- Able to use tools and machines with an attention to detail and work within precise limits and standards of accuracy
- Good understanding of math and quality control principles
- Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing demands
- Must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software is required
- Ability to work according to production schedules and deadlines
- Previous paint experience is preferred
