**Responsibilities**:

- Receive & inspect incoming material to ensure quantity & description match
- Ensure received material is properly tagged & allocated to appropriate location
- Maintain first in, first out standards & policies for all production and shipping product
- Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products for shipping
- Create required paperwork for outbound loads
- Create bills of lading
- Receive goods into inventory, including unpacking and verifying contents against appropriate documents; ensure received goods are accurately input into the computer tracking system, and distributed to the appropriate department
- Check, weigh and label materials and products
- Complete all necessary paperwork for shipments & separate according to customer needs
- Print out the daily expected receipts log and attach all incoming packing slips. Notify manager of all discrepancies
- Operate forklift as needed to load, unload and store goods
- Transport raw materials, finished product and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
- Ensure goods are shipped in accordance with organizational best practices and customer requirements
- Comply with safety policies, procedures of Occupational Health & Safety Act, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) in the storage, handling, and movement of product
- Responsible for housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment
- Work collaboratively as a team and assist other teams when required
- Other duties as assigned

**What we are looking for**:

- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience shipping / receiving in a manufacturing environment is **REQUIRED**:

- Forklift experience / license
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Must be able to weigh a variety of decision alternatives and provide a recommendation based on sound analysis
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
- Must be well organized and able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in all tasks
- Must be able to clearly and concisely present information in verbal and written form
- Can-do attitude with strong sense of urgency
- Highly motivated, conscientious, self-managed team player, with experience working in a production team environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work with a collaborative, driven team of skilled professionals
- Safety conscience and professional

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
