**Job Title: Seasonal Helper & Labor Assistant - Castle Genie (Windsor, Ontario)**

**Position Overview**:
Castle Genie, a locally-owned inflatable rental business in Windsor, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Seasonal Helper to assist with the setup, takedown, and maintenance of our high-quality inflatable rentals for events. You will work directly with the manager to ensure every booking runs smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a fun, fast-paced outdoor environment, helping create memorable moments for families and communities in Windsor-Essex County.

**Position duration**: Start **ASAP** and continue through **September**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Handling**: Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting inflatables and related gear to and from event locations.
- **Setup & Takedown**: Work alongside the manager to safely and efficiently set up and dismantle equipment.
- **Maintenance**: Clean and inspect inflatables regularly; perform minor repairs (e.g., patching small tears) as needed.
- **Customer Interaction**: Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries and pickups.
- **General Labor**: Help with organizing inventory, cleaning equipment, and other support tasks essential to daily operations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Physical Fitness**: Must be able to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors in various conditions (heat, humidity, light rain). Tasks are physically demanding and may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- **Dependability**: Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions.
- **Availability**: Flexible schedule required, including **split shifts** (typically morning setups and evening takedowns).
- Start as early as **7 AM**, finish as late as **8 PM**.
- **Weekend and holiday availability is essential. Ability to work on short notice is a bonus.**:

- **Experience**: No experience needed, but labor, event setup, or customer service experience is a bonus.
- **Teamwork & Safety**: Must work well as part of a small team and follow all safety protocols (training provided).
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to think on your feet and resolve on-site issues quickly.

**Hours, Pay & Benefits**:
**Hours**:

- 5-20+ hours/week, depending on weather and event demand.
- Most shifts are on weekends, with some weekday availability.

**Wage**:

- $17.20/hour (General Minimum Wage)
- $16.20/hour (Student Minimum Wage)
