**Toronto High Park FC (“THPFC” or “the Club”)**
Role: Soccer Operations (Operations Focus)
**I. Overview**
The intern, Soccer Operations (Operations Focus) is a valuable assistant member of
the THPFC team. The primary responsibilities are to assist the Director of Soccer
Operations (DOSO) with tasks that aim to successful delivery of soccer programs by
coordinating facilities, schedules, uniforms, registration platforms, staff (both paid and
volunteer), and equipment to ensure that operations run smoothly whilst providing
excellent customer service.
**II. Responsibilities**
- 1. Assist DOSO with main responsibilities- Organize and maintain a record of facilities in use by the Club.
- In coordination with Senior Staff, allocate facilities to the
- programs/teams as required.- Working with the DOSO; organize, purchase, receive, and deliver team
- uniforms, equipment, and staff uniforms (including sponsorship logos).- Maintain a live database of club equipment and inventory that is shared
- with senior staff.- Collaborate with THPFC program coordinators effectively to ensure
that all operational and administrative tasks are completed in a timely
manner (TeamSnap, PowerUp, Got Soccer, SportsEngine).
- Ensure the official Ontario Soccer database is current (player
registration).
- Maintain an active database of all player books, where they are at all
times (office, player, TSA), and the status of the book (stamped &
ready for pick up, not stamped).
- Assess and review the performance of all coaches at least once per
- year through their individual plans.- Ensure that the coach and staff police reference check database is
- current.- Work together with a team of interns to support the club’s projects.
- Special projects as determined by the Club.
**III. Direct Reports**
- The Intern, Soccer Operations will report directly to the Director of Soccer Operations.
**IV. Competencies Required**
The Intern, Soccer Operations should be punctual, professional, approachable,
responsive, passionate, show a strong commitment towards self-improvement, and be
able to communicate efficiently to the club’s team members and stakeholders.
**V. Qualifications & Requirements**
- Must be receiving course credit for completing this internship
- Coaching qualifications will be considered.
- Relevant experience in people management, administration,
- community relations, and event management- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with a variety of diverse stakeholders and partners.
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) including public
- speaking.- Availability on weekdays to attend events.
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire others in fulfilling the team’s goals
- and objectives.- Experience working within a sports organization will be considered.
- Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Gmail, Forms, etc.)
