Are you a skilled and versatile Handyman looking for a rewarding opportunity to showcase your talents? Glenora Homes Group is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Handyman. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the condition of our properties, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and comfort for our residents.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly.
- Repair or replace damaged fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
- Install and assemble furniture, fixtures, and other items as needed.
- Paint and touch up surfaces to maintain a fresh and appealing appearance.
- Handle minor carpentry, drywall, and flooring repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and property management staff in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with tenants and property management staff to ensure satisfaction.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
