**Summary**:
Under the direction of a Licensed Property Manager, the Property Manager-Assistant will support and execute Devon’s strategies related to property management operations by supporting an assigned portfolio of residential properties. This role provides a high level of customer service to both residents and building owners, while operating within BCFSA regulatory requirements and Devon Properties policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
- Accept shared responsibility for the management of a portfolio of residential properties along side a Licensed Property Manager. This would include assisting with tasks related to the financial performance of each property, monitoring revenues and expenses, accounts receivable, and supporting the process for accurate monthly management reports.
- Assist Property Managers in the development and evaluation of building budgets and resolving gaps in building financial performance.
- Assist with conducting and documenting building inspections and providing support to Building Managers in achieving company and owner established standards for maintenance and physical upkeep.
- Assist with drafting responses to tenants regarding standard complaints using pre-established guidelines and letter templates for approval by a Licensed Property Manager.
- Review and analyze market data to identify emerging trends that may impact the performance of the assigned portfolio.
- Provide support and assistance in achieving high occupancy and strong revenue growth for each property.
**Qualifications**:
- An interest and desire to work in the property management industry.
- The desire to work towards obtaining a property management license - an asset but not required.
- Recent administrative experience preferably in a property management or real estate services.
- Related post-secondary education is preferred e.g., business, finance, marketing, statistics, or administration, or transferrable skills from another industry such as hospitality, real estate, business owner etc.
- A willingness to learn and understand the BC Residential Tenancy Act.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat is required, and the desire and ability to learn property management software e.g., Property Vista, Seas, Yardi etc.
- Strong attention to detail, time-management, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills.
- Extremely well organized, disciplined, and able to work well in a busy team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, tenants and other professionals.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $52,000.00-$64,000.00 per year
