**Cost Control Coordinator**:
The Cost Control Coordinator reports directly to Seaspan’s Finance Department through the Cost Control Manager, and is responsible for the administration of project costing, invoicing, reporting, and contract arising coordination; the procure-to-pay (P2P); and the Corporate Transform AP (TAP) for the Submarine Program. The role provides administrative support to Sub-contract agreements for the Submarine program and is expected to ensure the accurate and timely completion of all invoicing and associated reporting in accordance with contract deliverables for all sub-contract agreements under the VISSC (Victoria In-Service Support Contract).

**Duties/Accountabilities**
- Follows Seaspan’s financial policies and procedures
- Is a key individual contributor for the billing administration of the Submarine Program and ensures the billing cycles for each VISSC project are maintained and followed
- Under the guidance of the Cost and/or Contracts Manager uses the Corporate Transform AP (TAP) as the payment review and approval process for the goods and services being procured for the VISSC Program
- Supports project costing and budgeting for the procurement of goods and services
- In the absence of the VISSC Cost Analyst and Subcontracts Specialist, provides information and responses needed to answer questions from the Victoria Shipyards Ltd. Co. (VSL) Accounting/Finance, Supply Chain Management and Logistic department regarding the VISSC Program
- Provision of support to VSL Monthly Progress Review Meeting (PRM) for the VISSC Program and assists in compiling the monthly PRM reports as required
- Once sufficiently trained, experienced, and qualified, functions as an in-house ERP System Expert and provides JD Edwards Enterprise One System support to other team members of the VISSC Program
- Performs additional administrative and supporting duties as required

**Education and Experience**
- Experience working and managing spreadsheets, budgets, invoices, contracts, and accounting related deliverables
- A post secondary degree and/or the enrollment in the PMP certification is considered an asset
- 4-5 years experience in a project management environment and/or project contracts administration with a solid ability to support the financial administration of a business or projects

**Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies**
- Knowledge and experience with relevant PSPC purchasing policies and procedures
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strong oral, written communication skills
- A self-starter with strong initiative and a good team-player
- Tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to accommodate changing demands
- Knowledge of shipbuilding industry considered an asset
- Able to attain NATO Secret & Controlled Goods Clearance
