BIXI Montreal is looking for one position to fill as a Building Maintenance Agent for its office located at 5945 de Gaspé Avenue in Montreal. Join us in contributing to the company’s mission and offering BIXI employees and partners a clean, pleasant and welcoming work environment.

The building maintenance agents will report to the Assistant Director of Procurement and Logistics, and their main tasks will be to ensure the maintenance of the building.

**This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with a 4-day work week and a full range of benefits.**

**The schedule will be as follows**:

- Wednesday: from 7am to 3pm
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday: from 7am to 5.30 pm

**What you will do**:
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Carry out cleaning tasks to keep the premises welcoming and well maintained (washing floors, surfaces, windows, mirrors, bathrooms, stairs, emptying rubbish bins and recycling, etc.)
- Carry out inspections of the common areas twice a day and maintain its clean state
- Carry out minor work as required: (plastering, painting, plumbing, etc.)
- Manage 2 cafeterias: management of vending and coffee machines, cleaning of appliances
- Delivering mail
- Clear the snow from building accesses when required
- Weekly management of stock quantities for household products and communicate orders to his/her supervisor
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned

**Job requirements**:
**What you need to have**:

- High school diploma with 2 years experience in a similar position. A combination of experience may be considered in the absence of a diploma
- A valid class 5 driver’s licence and a good driving record
- Organizational skills and appreciation for quality
- Autonomy, punctuality and reliability
- Ability to do manual work and some physical effort
