**Roles and responsibilities**

Responsibilities generally include but are not limited to the following:

- Framing
- Install and repair drywall, tape/mud, paint, replace ceiling tiles, etc.
- Installation of commercial doors and hardware
- Work at heights while following safety protocols
- Communicate with customer to schedule call and while on site
- Complete pre-job safety procedures
- Complete service project as specified
- Investigate areas outside of scope of work to determine if more work is available (follow-up quotes)
- Clean work area, advise customer upon project completion
- Submit follow up documentation to office (PSI, signed work order, photo report)

**Qualifications/requirements**:

- 3-5 years carpentry experience is an asset; apprentice or journeyman
- Must either be a union member or willing to join
- Valid G drivers license
- Clean drivers abstract
- Conduct work in a professional and respectful manner
- Ability to work independently and with integrity
- Enjoys teamwork and sharing knowledge
- Good organizational skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to anticipate client's needs
- Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy
- Excellent communication skills
- Superior craftsmanship with a high attention to detail
- Delivering renovation projects on time and within budget
- Valid WSIB, Working at Heights, First Aid certifications, etc.
