Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a server/supervisor. As a supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the company. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in management and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
**Duties**:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and services
- Assist with sales management by promoting products and services to customers
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and daily cash audits
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant/bar is imperative
- Experience with VLTs preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide guidance to team members
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Experience in customer service or retail industry is desirable
- Must hold a valid Serve It Right certificate
