We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician who is driven by customer satisfaction and service success to grow with our company

As a Field Service Technician, you will perform on site field service activities such as installing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs. A successful field service technician must be a self-starter, have excellent troubleshooting skills, strong communication skills, and an ability to adapt to and solve challenges that may arise. Ultimately, a Motiontek field service technician is expected to provide efficient, professional, and high quality service and repairs for any customer and job.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installing and testing customer equipment
- Repairing, maintaining, and identifying faulty parts
- Provide preventative maintenance and other regular routine equipment service in the field.
- Provide technical training on new equipment installations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures efficiency
- Responding quickly and efficiently to service requests and field dispatches
- Build positive relationships with customers through professional communications
- Understand customer concerns and requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings
- Coordinate with the Motiontek team to share information and collaborate on projects
- Complete detailed service reports in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Trade school diploma or college diploma preferred or equivalent experience
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge required
- PLC knowledge is an asset
- Experience working with major automation equipment and packaging equipment
- Ability read electrical and mechanical manuals and drawings
- Ability to problem-solve and create alternative solutions to problems
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
- Ability to travel within the GTA and across Canada, USA, and Europe
- Ability to work flexible shifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- On-site parking

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
