**The Role**
We’re looking for a **motivated and reliable**Sales Associate with a **keen eye for merchandising** to join our team. Everyday at Cork is a little different so **adaptability**and **multitasking** are key traits to be successful at this role. This role blends hands-on responsibilities with the chance to be part of a fun, engaging retail environment where every shift is a mix of operational focus and customer interaction.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Detail-oriented
- Passionate about Customer Service
- Outstanding communicator and team player
- Comfortable lifting wine and spirits cases (30-40 lbs) throughout the day
- Able to work on their feet for 6 hours
- ProServe Certified (required)
- Wine Educated (entry level or above) through WSET, ISG or equivalent

**Key Responsibilities**

Customer Experience
- Greet customers and help with selections
- Create a bespoke experience by listening to customer preferences, offering thoughtful recommendations and fostering genuine connections
- Contribute to tastings and events, helping customers discover new favourites
- Process POS (Point of Sale) transactions

Receiving & Stocking
- Receive new product deliveries ensuring carts are packed efficiently for in store stocking and fulfilling orders
- Barcode new product and restock shelves with product from overstock and overflow areas
- Maintain fridge organization (wine, beer, cocktail)
- Keep bags and gift bags fully stocked

Store Presentation
- Face bottles to keep shelves looking sharp
- Polish glassware and bottles
- General upkeep of cleanliness throughout the store
- Maintain storage areas

Additional Duties
- Assist with local deliveries
- Support in-store and offsite events
- Follow all safety and AGLC compliance protocols

**Hours & Schedule**

Our store is open **Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.**

We are not open evenings, weekends or holidays. **We will be open on Saturdays from November until the new year.**

This role requires Monday - Friday availability with a minimum of 2 Saturdays from Nov to December.

As per Alberta Labour standards, **Full Time is defined at 30 hours per week**. Hours may fluctuate between 30-40 hours per week due the season.
