**What does Nellson produce?**

We manufacture granola bars and protein bars for our clients.

We wish to hire a Quality Control Coordinator for our Lachine Manufacturing Plant.

Schedule: 40 hours / week - day shift

**Your role**

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, our Quality Control Coordinator works in collaboration with the various departments to coordinate and support the execution of control plans according to the quality standards we uphold. In addition, our future Coordinator will have to take charge of various projects related to the quality department.
- Ensure the execution of control plans for: food safety and quality control, environmental, sanitation, services (water, air)
- Compile and analyze results, as well as prepare communications related to performance indicators.
- Perform statistical analysis of weights (FreeWeigh software data)
- Perform the creation/modification of finished product labels (Label View software)
- Manage the laboratory: inventory, samples, etc.
- Perform the release of finished products (including COC, COA and communication to customers)
- Perform escalations in the event of non-compliances
- Participate in investigations of non-compliance (including complaints)

**Who are we looking for?**

In addition to being brilliant, friendly and passionate, the profile we are looking for is as follows:

- DEC training in dietetics or food processing or equivalent
- Experience: Have 1 - 3 years of experience in quality control in the food sector. Know the basis of the quality system (HACCP).
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel).
- French and English (oral and written) important.
