**Position: Temporary Full-Time Contract**

Based in **Edmonton, AB** the **Kinesiologist** is integral in promoting our clients’ healing and improving recovery time. We believe when you move better, you feel better. This is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a Kinesiologist who shares this same philosophy.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
- Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
- Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
- Connecting participants with appropriate community resources, available through the Government of Alberta, Federal Government Services, and local agencies and service providers
- Timely report writing, following current templates, guides, standards, and processes
- Record keeping and maintaining paper and electronic files

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
- 2+ years of experience considered an asset
- Registration with the appropriate Provincial governing body for Kinesiologists is required
- Understanding of Vocational Rehabilitation an asset
- Experience with mindfulness and/or yoga an asset
- An excellent understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity
- Sensitivity to learning limitations that may be present with participants
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Security background check required
- ** May be required to work evenings and/or weekends
