We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic **Cook With Customer Service Representative Responsibilities** to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support, while also preparing and serving food in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Your primary focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining food safety standards, and multitasking effectively between customer service and kitchen responsibilities. A background in restaurant service, food handling, or kitchen operations is highly desirable. **Food Safe or Serve It Right certification is required or must be obtained upon hiring.**

**Duties**

**Customer Service Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding menu items, food preparation, and service options.
- Provide information about food safety practices and meal preparation techniques to ensure customer confidence and satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback effectively, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
- Stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and food industry trends to make informed recommendations.
- Assist in the training of new team members on customer service protocols and food handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the customer service area to enhance the overall dining experience.

**Cook & Kitchen Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook food items, especially primary menu dishes, accurately and **within appropriate time frames**.
- **Multitask efficiently** by managing food preparation and customer service responsibilities during peak periods.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain food quality and consistency.
- Adhere strictly to **food safety standards**, including hygiene, temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and proper storage.
- Ensure all food is **served safely and correctly**, following regulations from **Food Safe or Serve It Right** certification programs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen and prep area throughout your shift.
- Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in restocking kitchen supplies when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the restaurant or food industry.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- **Food Safe and/or Serve It Right certification** (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and meal preparation.
- Ability to multitask effectively and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and empathy.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
