We believe EPIC Market is the perfect fit for those looking to grow a career in hospitality We are looking for part-time and full-time hosts / bussers to join our team and help our guests feel welcome and taken care of.

As a host, you'll greet customers and help them understand how things work so they never feel lost, set up reservations to ensure we never miss a beat, bus dishware and glasses from tables in an effort to keep the space clean and tidy, and help with a number of other responsibilities as a general helper

If you’re an energetic and people-oriented individual who can maintain a positive and friendly demeanour in a fast-paced environment, a quick learner who adapts well and can solve problems, and a hard worker who is open to going above and beyond for customers, we want to hire you

**What you’ll get to do**:

- Welcome customers, inform them about how the food hall works, and ensure they feel taken care of.
- Provide table maintenance by bussing dishes and glassware and cleaning tables off for new guests to enjoy.
- Going above and beyond to take guest orders where needed (some serving).
- Using our POS system to take orders and manage reservations and events.
- Assist with various event set ups and event preparations.
- Inventory duties such as stocking, shelving, and organizing.
- Cleaning duties such as cleaning up the bar, clearing tables, sweeping floors, sanitizing tables, and overall maintaining the general EPIC cleanliness of the food hall.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for managing reservations and orders.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others create memorable dining experiences.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
