**Job Summary**
The hosts/hostess’ at D spot are the first ones to ensure that customers have an amazing experience/visit when greeting new customers at the door and welcoming them. They must always have a positive attitude and sharp communication skills when handling patrons at the door.

**Duties**
- Greet customers at the door with a positive attitude and seating them
- Cleanliness and organization of the host area and section
- Assisting customers with take out orders and/or menu items. Familiarity with the menu and POS system
- Entering orders into the POS system from customers’ take out orders/ take out platform orders and ensuring proper packing of items before sending them out
- Assisting servers on the floor with cleaning tables, running orders, filling up water for customers, helping with general work to ensure a smooth operations of the floor
- Ensuring Food Service standards are met by maintaining a hygienic and clean work environment
- Used to handling crowds during busy hours of operation. Multi-tasking between different tasks for a smooth workflow for customers
- Wrapping cutlery as needed.
- In the event of an absence, filling in, by being a productive team member if required
- Working as a team player with fellow staff members to ensure all food items are delivered at the appropriate time and temperature
- Adhering to uniform standards, keeping a neat and professional appearance and consistency.
- Staying updated on current menu changes and monthly features etc.
- Following clear and concise instructions. Duties as assigned.

**Skills**
- Previous experience is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Must be a team player
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Must be able to list up to 55 lbs
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance is key
- Must be honest and work with a great deal of integrity
- Must be able to communicate with managers, staff and customers
