We are hiring **Full-time** individuals to join our team in the position of **Shop Technician** joining our team in our Edmonton, Alberta shop located at 5533 - 48 Street working between the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime opportunities.

**The position**:
The Shop Technician is responsible for completing tasks as specified by the Shop Foreman and Tool Technicians. Daily, your position will include such tasks as ensuring quality and safety standards are met, servicing of tools, and entering data into the Load Out Manager (LOM) program. Other related duties include:

- Assisting with the servicing, cleaning, repairing, rebuilding, and painting of various tools.
- Accurately measuring and recording tool dimensional data and entering data into the LOM program.
- Participating in daily safety meetings.
- Working safely and ensuring the shop is kept clean and organized.
- Working closely with the Tool Technicians and Shop Foreman to maintain appropriate inventory of all shop supplies.
- Providing quality shop support at the highest level possible.
- Working in a professional, ethical, and responsible manner.
- Understanding and complying with all ISO and Health, Safety and Environment Policies and Programs, including demonstrating compliance to clients and suppliers.
- Complying with all safety program training and legislated requirements.
- Being a reliable and dependable member of the team.

**What we need from you**:

- High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education an asset
- Completed courses in Import Tool Corporation’s Performance, Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental orientation and programs: GHS (WHMIS), first aid, forklift, and overhead crane.
- Oil field or drilling industry experience is considered an asset.
- Flexibility to work within a team or independently.
- A high mechanical aptitude and mechanical comprehension level.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Interacting and communicating respectfully and responsibly with co-workers.
- Attention to detail related to inventory and shop maintenance and organization.
