**FIELD & SHOP SERVICES TECHNICIAN**

In this role, you will:

- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electric motors, generators, and related equipment.
- Support both field service operations and shop-based rebuilds.
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly or mechanical and electrical components.
- Maintain accurate service records and assist with parts handling, restocking, and shipping/receiving.
- Operate shop tools and equipment (forklifts, hoists, cranes, and power tools) safely and efficiently.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Required**_
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EMST Technician (Electrical Motor System Technician)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AC/DC motor or generator repair.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.
- **Preferred**_
- Millwright or Journeyman Electrician certification (Apprentices welcome to apply)
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems and diagnostics
- Strong communication and customer service skills

**Working Conditions**
- Shop and field environments, including travel to customer sites
- Exposure to industrial equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical components
- Requires PPE and adherence to safety standards at all times
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
