This is probably not your dream job. But if you want to be a
writer, then getting paid to write is a big fat hairy deal. Writers
write. Some of us do it for fun. Almost nobody gets a
paycheque for it. If you’d like to join the select few who can
call themselves professional writersread on.
Some people write fiction. They make stuff up. That’s not what
this is. This is journalism. And journalism is about delivering
facts. The reader decides whether she feels good about it or
not. In this job, you’re not writing to persuade; that’s the
antithesis of journalism. You’re writing to differentiate.
As the new technical writer for No Bull RV you’ll be writing
about used RVs. Explaining the differences, the features and
benefits of each one. You WILL NOT be expected to make
something sound better than it is. That’s lying and we don’t do
that. You will explain exactly what the customer can expect
when he comes in to look at it. This is about accuracy. We want
our customer to say, “Yup, that’s what they said it would be.
And that’s what it is.”
