Serving Northern and Central Ontario, Metal-Air is looking for a skilled, highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of: Sheet Metal Apprentice - Level 1 to 3

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load, unload materials, tools, supplies and work machinery from truck or trailer
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Install sheet metal according to drawings and blueprints
- Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces
- Operate light metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses, including equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
- Perform any trade-related tasks, as required.
**Qualifications/required skills**:

- Indentured in the Sheet Metal Trade - Level 1- 3
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and /or reasoning
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Must possess a valid Class ‘G’ driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
- Must be able to work in a team environment
**Working Conditions**:

- Physically demanding role
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Possible shift and weekend work as required
- Handling heavy loads
- Must be able to legally work in Canada
- Must be able to work on various construction job sites
- May be required to work out of town during the workweek
- Must provide own steel-toe boots and personal hand tools.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
