Want to work for one of the fastest growing companies? Want to work with ownership that cares about their people? Produce Express is the place for you We are looking to fill a vacancy for an Assistant Buyer to work out of the Ontario Food Terminal.

**Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinating the receiving & loading at the food terminal dock with our driver.
- Communicating efficiently with the team, updating excel sheets, contacting suppliers, checkers, tracking paperwork, submitting, and obtaining credits.
- Managing and maintaining the system database; updating descriptions, pricing, costing, inventory levels.
- Procurement of several low volume categories and management of specially ordered product.

Qualifications:

- High cognitive skills are necessary
- Efficient and detailed communication skills
- Experience with excel and inventory databases preferred
- Great attention to detail
- Experience working independently and with large teams
- Able to work in a face pace environment
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective vendor relationships
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
