FULL-TIME OPERATIONS & FULFILLMENT MANAGER
The full-time operations and fulfillment manager will require you to oversee implementation and order fulfillment at every level. Taking on both the responsibility for the strategic direction of the department and general management duties, in this position, you will oversee daily operations and order fulfillment as well as look for ways to optimize and improve overall operations.
This position entails:
**Administrative Duties**
- Providing assistance to the scheduling of seasonal and part-time staff
- Review and track key performance indicators (KPI’s) in areas such as shipping and delivery times, backorders, lead times and more
- Manage inventory and conduct reports through Shopify
- Deliver clear presentation and summary of analytics, using software such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
**Operations Management**
- Overseeing the organization of everyday eCommerce order fulfillment
- Analyzing data in order to make data-driven decisions
- Work to find and create new opportunities for growth and expansion
- Logging and organization of operational standards and procedures of operation
- Multitasking and handling many ongoing responsibilities at once
- Discover areas of improvement and plan to refine production standards
**Fulfillment Support and Management**
- Responsible for the training of new team members
- Supervises and manages production and fulfillment team members
- Assumes responsibility for assuring that all orders will be processed in accordance with our standards, as well as completed in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Oversees open orders, taking quick action to ensure the resolution of any upcoming issues or delays to have orders shipped on time
- Assess the performance of couriers and other delivery partners to ensure all standards are being met
- Willing and able to provide support to team members in regard to meeting customer deadlines
**Supply Chain**
- Manage inventory and ensure inventory management systems are up to date
- Track customer complaints and item defects and oversee and correct any issues
- Use forecasting to ensure that supply chain demand levels are met and avoid shortages
- Find areas of improvement and automation in regards to inventory management
- At least two plus years of experience working in warehousing, production, and/or fulfillment in a management role
- Proven proficiency in a leadership position supervising the work of subordinates.
- Posses a customer-first mindset
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of creative design
- Strong ability to prioritize, plan and solve problems as they arise
- Shipping and Logistics experience
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a dedicated team-player
- Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in eCommerce fulfillment with a proven history of generating KPI improvements to scale growth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
