Our primary goal is to teach our students _Putonghua_ (Standard Mandarin), modern Chinese phonetic system (_Hanyu Pinyin_) and simplified Chinese characters, using the official language system of Mainland China combined with North America Education Philosophy. **Position: Social Media Co-op/Intern (10-20 hours per week avg)**

**Location: Work remotely**

**Start Date: Mid-Sep, 2024**

**Job Type: Co-op/Internship with monthly allowance based on available working hours**

We are looking for a dynamic **Social Media Co-op/Intern** who is open-minded, self-motivated and fast-learning. **This person has to be fluent in both English and Mandarin.**

**Responsibilities**:

- In partnership with the Social Medica and Marketing team for community engagement and social listening
- Implement content, Edit video and Design images for key social media channels, such as TikTok, Xiaohongshu and Instagram for brand awareness
- Work with social media and marketing team to analyze social media metrics and provide insights, measure the success of community engagement initiatives
- Understand the latest industry news and trends, and share knowledge with Social Media and Marketing Team
- A recent graduate or currently enrolled in a university degree or college diploma in digital marketing, advertising, graphic designing or a discipline related.
- Experience in education industry is definitely an asset
- Practical experience of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Knowledge in Video editing, digital asset management systems and tiktok/Xiaohongshu/Instagram posting/updating is preferred.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Social Media (Tiktok, Xiahongshu and Instagram etc), Mac, MS Office Suite
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Detail orientated, good time management skills in a changing environment, Ability to work independently and as part of a team
