We are looking for a full-time Lab Technician to join our busy Future Transfer team

**Responsibilities**:

- Probe and process samples to send to labs for Carryover testing
- Process samples for exporting to external labs for Rebag and follow up on retests as per customer request
- Notify management of any deviations from the product specifications
- Use a variety of equipment and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Ensure the laboratory and Tollers are well-stocked and resourced with quality supplies
- Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner
- Accurately document the logistics of samples sent for inspection and testing
- Follow and ensure strict safety procedures and safety checks are being completed
- Maintain an inventory control process on a regular basis
- Conduct critical shipment expedites on a daily basis to customers
- Follow and oversee customer’s export and import processes and procedures
- Prepare and process retention samples for germ updates and send to the labs on a weekly basis
- Organize batches to be scrapped when requested by customer
- Additional duties as required by management

Required Knowledge:

- 2 years required relative experience in lab/quality control environment
- 2 years required relative experience in an industrial office/customer service position
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good organizational and time management skills required
- Good communication and customer service skills internally and externally
- Good working knowledge of SAP, FedEx Software, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Working Conditions:

- This position is primarily performed in a busy plant facility as well as a laboratory/office setting
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- Temperature fluctuation
- Overtime as required
