**Job Title: Machinist - Precision Cylindrical Grinder**

**Industry: Aerospace Landing Gear**

**Shift: Afternoon + 10% shift premium**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate cylindrical, thread, and surface grinders to machine parts to print with close tolerances of 0.0001 inch.
- Set up and operate conventional machine tools, including lathes, mills, and drill presses.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate grinding operations.
- Inspect and measure components using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot grinding issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of applied machining training, including manual and CNC machining, and precision grinding.
- 3+ years of experience in precision grinding, preferably in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of precision grinding techniques, procedures, and equipment.
- Experience with conventional machine tools, including setup and operation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
