Gravel Pit Manager

Job responsibilities include:

- Overseeing and running day to day operations of pit
- Work with surveyors, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth mining and processing operations
- Ensure safety protocols and procedures are adhered to
- Organize and oversee delivery of materials to ensure customer satisfaction
- Oversee crushing operations and ensure product quality
- Oversee estimating, sales, receivables and product inventories
- Ensure mining and reclamation is compliant with plans and specifications

Desired Work Experience
- 5 or more years as an aggregates manager or supervisor
- At least 10 years' experience in the aggregate industry
- Experience with environmental and municipal codes and regulations
- Knowledge of materials testing and specifications
- Experience with budgeting and cost reporting
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Education
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

- Proven, strong leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

- Willing to do any job necessary for the good of the company
