The Floor Manager at Fonda Fora restaurant oversees customer service and ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience. This includes managing staff, monitoring customer feedback, creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, coordinating reservations and special events, and leading daily preshifts and services. The floor manager also serves as a point of contact for customers, ensuring their wants, needs, and concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Other duties will include training staff, enforcement of policies and procedures, and building a regular clientele base.

The main objectives in this position will be:

- **Service** - Ensure superior customer service by developing positive relationships and providing outstanding service to every guest. Monitor personnel performance and manage staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- **Staff Management** - Monitoring work performance levels and providing feedback to team members to help them grow and reach their full potential. Additionally, enforcing Fonda Fora's policies, procedures, and regulations.
- **Restaurant Growth** - Increasing the restaurant's sales and profits over a period. This can be achieved through a variety of tactics, improved staff training, customer satisfaction and retention, using OpenTable to its fullest capacity, and streamlining daily operations.

The responsibilities of the Floor Manager include:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including staffing levels and customer service.
- Review financial reports and monitor budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Assisting the General Manager (and Assistant General Manager) in their duties and representing the General Manager in their absence.
- Developing our clientele base and pushing OpenTable to be utilized to its fullest capacity.
- Ensure the customer's satisfaction by proactively visiting tables in the establishment to check in. Table touching.
- Developing effective strategies to increase customer traffic and ensure repeat business.
- Monitor customer feedback to highlight areas of improvement and identify opportunities to create development programs for staff, and changes required in the restaurant to grow business.
- Establishing effective communication strategies to be used by all staff members.
- Train and supervise staff.
- Handle administrative duties that have been delegated by the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager.
- Aid in problem solving and decision making.
- Lead motivational daily staff preshifts.
- Filling in for any FOH staff member as necessary. Ex. A server no shows for a shift, or a bartender gets into a car accident on the way to work and cannot make it, or labor budgets are not being met.
- General restaurant cleanliness.
- Liaison to the hotel leadership team to ensure overall guest satisfaction for both Fonda Fora and The Westley Hotel.

Key Performance Indicators for this position will include:

- Customer Satisfaction: assessing feedback from customers to measure the level of satisfaction of guests.
- Staff Retention: tracking employee turnover to ensure the team remains motivated and engaged.
- Efficiency: Measuring the turnaround time for processing orders and how efficiently employee’s complete tasks.
- Revenue Generation: Identifying new opportunities for revenue growth and ensuring that all promotional activities are successful.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all safety standards and regulations are met.
- Cost-Effectiveness: Making sure that labor costs, supply costs and related expenses are kept under control.
- Innovation: Seeking out improved methods of operation, as well as staying up to date on industry trends in order to remain competitive.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
