**Duties**:

- Shop installs and repairs
- Fieldwork - installation and maintenance
- System design, integration, and installation - recommend products and solutions to customers

**Responsibilities**:
Be familiar with all technological aspects relating to service
- Automated Weather Observation Systems (AWOS)
- Networking/LAN
- Software solutions, configuration, integration
- Video surveillance
- 2-way radio (installation/bench repair)

Provide exceptional support/prioritization in all internal and external related IT matters including, but not limited to:

- Identify customer requirements (i.e. software solutions, configuration, etc.)
- Complete installation process, including the processing of all installation related documentation
- Maintain network, server, and computer device functionality and necessary upkeep/updating

Customer Service
- Deal with both internal and external customers with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Maintain continuous relations with primary clients
- Assess customer needs
- Recommend solutions
- Ongoing customer support
- Schedule in-shop and field service work

- May involve work in the evenings and on weekends

**Preferences**:

- Education:_
- Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Systems Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Technician certificate/diploma or equivalent education a definite asset but not required
- Experience:_
- Experience in a similar service role

**Schedule**:

- Typically, Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.)
- Two 15-minute breaks and a one hour lunch provided each day
- Will occasionally require overnight travel/overtime

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
