**Summary**

YQR distillery is eagerly looking for a Liquor Store Manager Assistant for its retail liquor store in Saskatoon and regina. Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager who response for the specific store, this Liquor Store Manager Assistant is responsible for the support the function of retail store operation especially control the legal sale of alcohol in the community. This includes providing leadership and direction, training employees, good customer relations skills, and controlling costs and maximizing revenue.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist store manager to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, sale and service in the store
- Performs inventory management function in the store sale
- Ensures outstanding customer service by providing a friendly and courteous environment and maintaining all other components of exceptional customer service
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
- Control stock levels and stock variances and report to the store manager
- Monitors and complies with city ordinances and provincial regulations regarding the sale of alcohol
- Ensures the compliance of liquor store policies, procedures and practices and supports security and loss control efforts
- Assist to supervise staff and/or volunteers for the in-store work
- Develop teamwork and maintain good staff moral
- Ensure acceptable levels of security in the store for both staff and physical assets
- Fulfill the offsale work if the schedule is vacancy for the staff to maintain the operation during the open hour
- Assist Marketing Team to promote our company, product and develop our brand

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business is preferred, or any related field or equivalent degrees is an asset
- A minimum of two-year experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor of a retail store, or
- A minimum of three or four years experience in related sale
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Must successfully complete a criminal history background check
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
- Ability to strategize and solve problem
- Must have certificate of Serve It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS), nor the work would be obtained

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour
