Minor Bros. is a family-owned business with over 60 years of history, proudly based in Canborough, Ontario. Founded in 1964 as a local feed mill serving area farms and farmers, Minor Bros. has grown into a trusted name in the farm and feed industry. Today, the company manufactures premium-quality feed products that are distributed throughout southern Ontario.

Minor Bros. is looking for a **Mill Maintenance Manager** who has blend of technical expertise, leadership skills and experience in manufacturing and maintenance, ideally with a background in agriculture. This position takes care of all buildings, equipment, machinery and vehicles at the Canborough site and provides support to our other business locations.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Hands on working leader completing maintenance activities.

Handling emergencies and interfacing with outside services.

Troubleshooting and repairs of all facilities and equipment, machinery and vehicles

Investigating all critical failures to recommend improvements as required.

Ensuring all maintenance work is carried out following Minor Bros and industry standards and regulations.

Maintain work order system and tracking for all activities.

Ongoing development and execution of the preventive maintenance program.

Maintain budgets for repair and maintenance activities.

Forecasting, ordering and negotiating price on all maintenance purchases.

Oversee calibration requirements and maintain records.

Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and properties.

Co-ordinate capital projects, working with vendors from RFQ through implementation.

Always looking for new ways to improve productivity, cutting costs while improving reliability.

Participate as a member of the feed safety team.

Understand all quality requirements of feed manufacturing.

**Experience and Skills required**:

Hands on leader who is available to assist in all urgent matters.

Data driven problem solver, tracking trends and focused on making improvements.

A solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.

Welding and fabrication skills are required.

Able to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical documents.

Knowledge of preventive and predictive programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Proven leader, focused on providing and executing on maintenance improvement plans.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
