**About the Role**:
As a Mechanical Project Manager at Zenon Build, you will lead project teams, reporting to a Project Director, and manage your assigned projects from initiation to closeout. Your expertise in digital control systems and commitment to continuous learning within the construction industry will be invaluable.
**Responsibilities**:
- Secure and maintain all necessary permits and licenses.
- Develop, monitor, and update project material and labor schedules.
- Coordinate and schedule trades on-site, reviewing work progress against the construction schedule.
- Procure materials and schedule deliveries to the site.
- Manage project change orders, including distribution, compilation, pricing, tracking, and logging.
- Ensure timely collection of closeout documents and project closeout.
- Collaborate with suppliers to collect quotes on supplies, materials, and equipment, verifying take-offs for accuracy and specification alignment.
- Track trade work and overall project progress.
- Manage project correspondence, organize project files, and distribute documents to the project team.
- Schedule and coordinate inspections.
- Process and manage project RFIs, including creating and following up on Mechanical RFIs.
- Process project Site Instructions, issuing them to trades, vendors, and the site team, and assisting with estimate/quote preparation.
- Conduct site visits and prepare progress reports for billing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
**Qualifications**:
- **Minimum 6 years of experience** managing complex mechanical projects.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- AEC/DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate preferred.
