**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager located in Coquitlam, BC. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing HVAC & Mechanical projects from inception to completion. Daily tasks include coordinating with various teams, managing logistics, expediting materials, conducting inspections, and ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards. The role requires effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Planning**: Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**: Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams to define project scope and objectives.
- **Resource Management**: Oversee the effective and cost-efficient use of project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- **Execution & Monitoring**: Lead the execution of mechanical projects, conducting site meetings, inspections, and progress monitoring.
- **Quality & Compliance**: Ensure all project work adheres to design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- **Contract & Vendor Management**: Manage subcontracts, purchase orders for materials, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- **Risk & Problem Solving**: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, while also resolving conflicts and issues that arise.
- **Reporting**: Prepare and deliver regular project updates, cost reports, and other necessary documentation to stakeholders.
- **Project Closeout**: Oversee the entire project closeout process, ensuring all deliverables are met and documents are finalized.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is often required.
- **Experience**: Several years of experience in mechanical design or construction is crucial.
- **Technical Expertise**: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- **Project Management Skills**: Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective reporting and coordination with various parties.
- **Leadership**: Ability to lead and motivate project teams.

Compensation depending on experience.

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
