Job Overview:
We are currently looking for part time servers to join our team. Shiki Japanese Restaurant is an authentic Japanese restaurant since 1983. We are a team of happy, passionate, and hard working individuals who would love to welcome other individuals for the server position. This position is very important as it ensure customers satisfaction when dine in at our restaurant. Your key tasks will be greeting customers, taking orders, making drinks, check out for customers, and create the best experience for our customers. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and ensure accuracy
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling salads or desserts
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to stand on feet for long hours and lift tray of food while staging positive and displaying enthusiasm

**Experience**:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus

Requirement:

- Smart Serve
- Memorize the menu and read the menu with Japanese terms
- As a fast paced environment and very busy business, servers need to be able to handle stress, move quickly, and always carry a positive attitude towards customers and your team members
- At least one year of experience in the server position
- Weekends availability is a must
