Flair Airlines is currently seeking a permanent, full-time **IT Business Analyst** to join our growing and ever-changing organization. The best IT business analysts have exceptional interpersonal skills as they need to act as a communication link between the IT and other departmental groups. The expectation is that there is a high emphasis on attention to detail and quality of documentation produced using a combination of experience, best practices, standards, and an approach that aligns with Flair PMO guidelines.

**Working Conditions**:
The incumbent works an office environment. Occasional travel may be required. The position will require prolonged periods of sitting and using office equipment and computers. Long periods of intense concentration may be required. The position may require moving from a sitting to standing position, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, grasping, and lifting 50 lbs.

**Primary Job Functions**:

- Liaising between the IT department and other departments.
- Acting as an information source and communicator between departments.
- Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth.
- Enhancing the quality of IT products and services.
- Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models.
- Utilizing IT data for business insights.
- Analyzing business needs.
- Sourcing and implementing new business technology.
- Finding technological solutions to business requirements.
- Participate in technical projects as a task owner.
- Manage small projects requiring a single resource.
- Assisting other IT teams as needed
- Must be available to participate in rotating emergency on-call support and weekend projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work towards defined project deliverables, ensuring they are met within the identified project timeline and regularly reporting progress to the Airport Applications Manager
- Able to distill complex ideas into clear, concise communications and customize messages to audience.
- Manages relationships with key business stakeholders to understand changes to business processes and procedures to contribute to the success of the PMO.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in math, information systems, business administration or a related major; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree requirement
- CBAP certification is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and demonstrated ability to learn and implement new programs and software
- Ability to work in a high-stress, ever-changing work environment while managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks and assignments to solve problems
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Level-headedness, calmness and the ability to think and respond appropriately in difficult situations
- Excellent organizational skills-and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology groups.
- Demonstrated aptitude to independently manage multiple objectives/tasks.
- Maintain a high level of operational and technical knowledge necessary to meet the requirements of the role
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, be fluent in spoken/written English and hold and maintain a valid passport that allows travel across the airline’s network
- Airline industry experience is an asset
