Personal Support Worker

**Position**: Personal Support Worker (PSW)
**Job Type**: Part-time, Full-time, Casual
**Location**: Lindsay, Ontario (Kawartha Lakes region)
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist residents with **personal care** (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
- Document care provided and report concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Valid **PSW certificate** from an accredited program.
- **Certification in lifts, transfers, and safe mobility techniques (e.g., Hoyer Lift, 2-person assists).**:
- **Surge Learning or dementia care training (e.g., GPA, U-First) is a plus.**:
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to resident-centered care.
- Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA)

**Schedule**:
- 8- or 12-hour shifts | Days, Evenings, Nights | Weekends & Holidays
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 44 per week
Additional pay:
