**About the role**:
We’re looking for a mobile Product Manager to help build and scale Avenza Maps, our flagship product enjoyed by millions of professional and recreational users globally for mapping and navigation. This role is ideal for someone who likes taking ownership and building features at all levels of the stack. You will have a broad scope of responsibilities that will range from collaboration on new APIs to creation of wireframes and direct customer engagement, facilitating pain point discovery.

**What you’ll do**:

- Develop a deep understanding of our users, the problems they face, and how Avenza Maps is used for navigation and data collection
- Run user research, usability studies, data-driven experiments to inform product direction
- Scope, define and drive new feature development from start to finish
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team with developers, designers, QA and support to create a user-centred team culture with a mobile vision that everyone has bought into
- Own end-to-end experience for a specific feature set of the app
- Curate the project backlog to ensure that team is always working on the highest priority thing, balancing the development of new features and improvements
- Help to triage bugs and regressions as they appear

**What you'll need**:

- You love the outdoors, travel and generally feel comfortable around maps and navigation
- 3+ years of mobile experience in a product management role at a software-based company
- Ability to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of a product
- Substantial experience using user research to make data-driven decisions
- A solid understanding of statistics, including the ability to define and analyze important metrics and determine statistical significance
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity and desire to learn
