Companion - Home Support Work

- Independence Matters has been in business in Maple Ridge for 14 years now and we have created a strong team or care providers. Most team members have been with the company for many, many years and we are growing. We are expanding to the Coquitlam and Langley areas. We are looking for wonderful team members to join us We offer flexible scheduling, benefits for employees working over 30 hours per week and a great group of seniors and team members to work with._
- This is a pat time line is ideal for someone looking to earn some extra money while making a difference with seniors. Extra hours available as well._
- This position is ideal for someone who is kind and compassionate and loves seniors. You will be providing companionship to reduce isolation and getting your clients outside for fresh air and becoming a interictal part of there social life._
- Expected start date: immediately_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Home Care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- BC Drivers License (required)
- Criminal Record Check for Vulnerable Persons (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (required)
