Support Worker

**NHPSG Society**is a Non-Profit Society and receives funding from The Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and School District 42. We are also a member in good standing with the Chamber of Commerce serving Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
A support care worker with experience in this field is needed to join a team implementing an in-home intervention program for a youth affected with Autism \ complex needs.
The person we are looking for should be very patient, physically strong and fit and be able to follow the direction given by the Program Manager and other consultants - BC, Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist, preferably someone with a post secondary education in a child related field. The youth that you will be working with is semi-verbal and has the ability to learn. There are times when this youth has challenging behaviours with complex needs and therefore it is advantageous for the incumbent to be able to handle such situations and think on their feet, to redirect the youth and to follow the behaviour plans.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
