**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Quality Inspector should have extensive working knowledge of a production environment, specializing in the reading of blueprints and the use of standard measuring tools. The Quality Inspector must possess strong communication skills (oral and written) with an ability to effectively interact with integrated process teams, organizational skills, the ability to be forward-thinking for planning purposes, and strong attention to detail.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Inspect new and used products (visual, dimensional, workmanship) by reading blueprints and paying close attention to details.
- Pe r f orm “ F irst Of f ” i n sp e c t i o n in-process and final inspection.
- E n s u re t h a t N CR D o cu me n t at ion is c orr e c t a n d c o m pl e te.
- U se mea s u r i n g t oo l s as per proper procedures, and v e ri f y c a libr at i on o f t ool s.
- C h e c k t h e q u a li t y of the p r od uc t, including verification of proper stamping of parts a n d t r a c ea bili t y nu m b e rs.
- Coordinate measuring equipment calibration process.
- Cl ea n and ma i n ta in t ool s, e q u ip me n t, a n d w ork a r ea s.
- Other duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School or equivalent required
- Experience or training with measuring equipment, have strong computer and math skills, and mechanical aptitude are considered assets.

**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**
- JDE
- Microsoft Office
- Overhead Crane and Forklift Certificates are preferred.

**HSE REQUIREMENTS**
- Participate in near-miss incident reporting
- Adhere to all HSE policies and procedures
- Able to work in a manufacturing environment (walking, standing, noise)
- Ability to lift unassisted 35 lb.
