Inside Sales Associate

**Full Job Description**:
**General Purpose of Job**:
The In House sales rep will assist in the booking events & maintaining good relationship with clients including all administration, guest relations, writing contracts and function sheets. A key goal of this position is to focus on sales and marketing by building our client base and contributing significantly to our bottom line sales. The sales associate will also spend time in our facility learning our operations, menu, and culture by working key hourly positions and focusing on guest relations. Generally be Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day
Before selling anything the Sales representative has to study menus & operation in order to clearly understand the company procedure & be available to close sales more smoothly.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for setting an overall tone of warm, welcoming, hospitality when interacting with guests on the phone, during the booking process, and at any event.
- The position is key to answer the guest inquiries quickly and follow up in a timely manner, responding to guests in a timely fashion with enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to help with all of their questions and requests.
- Meet with guests inquiring about events and “sell” our menu and give excellent customer service. You must have a professional and Caring approach with Clients and Staff and be compassionate, kind and respectful.
- Setting goals to significantly increase sales by establishing a strong outreach program, cold calling, and reinstating our rewards program.
- Responsible for maintaining mailing lists.
- Establishes and maintains great relationships with our vendors.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- High school graduate or equivalent desired.
- Excellent writing, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Confident with presenting and interacting with guests.
- Must possess general knowledge of food and beverage and service procedures, generally involving some experience as a server, bartender, catering assistant, etc.
- Some experience in the catering/banquet field and sales/marketing is preferred. Excellent writing, communication, and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with guests and employees.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and flexibility required.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to demonstrate high energy, and strong enthusiasm for customer service
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and communicate effectively in the event of any delays.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance & grooming and regular attendance in compliance with company standards.
**Schedule**:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
**Supplemental pay types**:
- Bonus pay

**Experience**:
- Events management: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
- Knowledge Kitchen Base ( Preferred)
