Summary of Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Manager, Dietary Services, the incumbent performs administrative, clinic and coordination duties for Patients Food Services and Dietary Clinical Services. The incumbent ensures the quality control and the proper distribution of patient meal trays in accordance with standards.

The incumbent promotes healthy patient nutrition and coordinates the work of dietary aides and dietary clerks. The incumbent also assists the manager in performing certain administrative duties.
Profile and Experience
- A college diploma in Food and Nutrition Management, or a diploma recognized by the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management upon obtaining a membership certificate;
- A valid food handling certificate issued by Ottawa Public Health or any other organization recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care;
- Active membership in the Canadian Society for Nutrition Management (CSNM);
- General knowledge of the nutrition sector;
- Intermediate-level proficiency in both official languages (French and English), oral and written.

Asset
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital food service.
